Friday Favourites: Wimbledon Whites

Hands up who is currently consumed by watching Wimbledon?

I’m so guilty,I’m currently watching Del Potro winning, and I can generally say that I’ll be here in front of the TV for next week or so, with a side of strawberries and cream, a jug of Pimm’s, while cheering on my favourite Serena Williams, if the rain every lets her play. With that in mind, I thought I would dedicate this week’s Friday Favourites to inspiring Wimbledon Whites, so you can bring tennis off the court for a chic summery look. I have everything from a simple shift dress to a cool on-trend bomber jacket, cropped slim fit trousers, a contemporary take on the tennis skirt, as well as the cutest floaty top, and off course the classic tennis shoe.

1. Missguided – Ponte Wrap Shift Dress, £15 // 2. Zara – Poplin Top, £17.99 // 3. Boohoo – Georgia Badge Print Bomber, £15 // 4. River Island – White Slim Trousers, £30 // 5. Dorothy Perkins – White ‘Picnic’ Wooden Clogs, £35 // 6. Topshop – Pleated Detailed Midi Skirt, £55 // 7. Anya Hindmarch – Tennis Ball Keychain, £495 // 8. Bourjois – La Laque- £4.55 // 9. Public Desire – Sandy Espadrilles, £24.99 // 10. Adidas – Stan Smith, White White Crinkle, £79.99 //

I’m obsessed with pleats and I’m finding a new love of wrap styles, so this Topshop midi skirt combines the both. Don’t over style this look wear with a casual vest and a cool pair of trainers for a sports-luxe vibe. Seriously, I can’t get over how dreamy this skirt is.

I saw this cute Zara top in store, it seems I can resist a feminine frill, but sadly they didn’t have my size, so I spent a good hour searching for it on Zara’s website, serious why isn’t it easier? But I’m good to you guys and you can just click here to buy, also, did I mention it is only £17.99. Also, don’t think it would look totally great to do a whiter than white look paired with these tailored River Island slim trousers and cool chunky Dorothy Perkins clogs? A look for less than £85.

You can’t have a Wimbledon inspired shopping list without a shift dress and this beauty from Missguided, which FYI is only £15, is so lovely, I love the wrap detailing, pair this dress with the classic Adidas Stan Smith tennis shoes and the fun badge printed bomber from Boohoo and you’ve got a great casual-cool look.

Finishing off my Wimbledon Whites edit is a cute, fun, but a little expensive tennis ball keyring by Anya Hindmarch, but seriously how cute is this, as well as great white nail varnish, to complete that tennis look.
