It seems to be in fashion for designers to produce quirky promo videos to promote their new collections – but this is the most charming I have seen.
“Miroir Mirror” is a short film by director Jennifer Venditti and it showcases the spring 2010 collection from Rachel Roy’s younger brand, Rachel Rachel Roy.
Not only is the concept charming, but the musicality from Chris Garneau is delightful, such a great short film.
Rachel Roy – Miroir Mirror follows a young woman who exists in a world that lacks color and inspiration. She is able to discover a world of whimsy and fun through fashion and explores different facets of her personality through her clothing. Venturing out into the world, she sees it through different eyes, full of color and wonder. As she concludes her journey she encounters a sign that says ‘Stop Worrying,’ which signifies something different to everyone. Essentially, it means that we should stop worrying about what others think and express ourselves however we feel. We should live life.
