Verdict: I know that a lot of best dressed polls this week will come from Sex and the City 2 premieres, which is why I have gone for this distinct dress worn by Lydia Hearst.
I have to admit that I don’t know too much about this Nigerian designer but as soon as I saw this amazing print dress I had to find out more. She showed at New York Fashion week in February and is famed for using Nigerian hand woven fabric for her collections, using African prints and generally expressing her culture through her designs.
It is nice to see this frock gracing the red carpet and Lydia wears it perfectly. I love how she’s accessorised this print heavy dress with animal print tights. It shouldn’t work but I think it does.
I can’t wait to see more from Deola Sagoe.
