Sadly I wasn’t able to take my own pictures of the Hermione de Paula spring/summer 2011 show, due to row 2 and poor lighting it was more blurry models than graceful fashion shots, but I do have this video showcasing the whole show.
Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s Merit Award winner from last season Hermione’s new collection, Flora’s Illuminate, inspired by the goddess of flowers, of course she kept true to her being a print specialist with floral prints throughout.
There was a romantic feel in the gorgeous Freemason’s Temple area with fluid dresses gracing the very shiny runway, which had the models in their very high Nicholas Kirkwood heels with contrasting coloured ankle socks, worried that they would slip. The floral prints were placed on everything from billowing skirts to caped jumpsuits, but my favourite pieces had to be the sheer dresses with bikini tops and high-waisted pants peeking through.
