Fancy doing an Anna Dello Russo and designing your own one-of-a-kind personalised Barbie *or Ken* doll? Well I may have just found the charity auction for you!!
Charitybuzz have teamed up with Mattel, to offer one lucky bidder the amazing opportunity to create a doll in the likeness of their choice, from personalised face paint, hair colour and style, to the gorgeous fashion and accessories that Barbie is known for.
This is one serious cool auction, and best of all all the money raised is going to The Council of Fashion Designers of America Foundation’s Fashion and Friends of Japan Initiative. Such a worthy cause.
So how much would you pay for a once-in-a-lifetime prize? Well currently *April 22*, this lot is up to $5,250, with an estimated value of $10,000. Get bidding the auction closes on Thursday, April 28, at 2pm EDT.
Wishful thinking that I could bid, but if I could, I would design one glamorous Barbie, with a red carpet vibe to it, maybe an Awards Barbie complete with one of my favourite Award season gowns.
How about Diane Kruger at the SAG Awards in that stunning floor-length mustard coloured Jason Wu gown – now that would be perfection!!!
