Last month I had the pleasure to see what Trollbeads have planned for autumn/winter 2011 at Fashion Press Week. We all know how much I love jewellery, I own obscene amounts from charm bracelets to statement jewels, but surprisingly I don’t own anything from Trollbeads, crazy I know and that will most certainly have to be rectified.
If like me you don’t know much about Trollbeads then let me quickly introduce you to the Danish brand. Basically, this is interchangeable jewellery at its very best as it has the most amazing selection of charm beads with over 730 intricate designs, with each bead hand-crafted using sterling silver, 18 carat gold, Italian Murano glass, pearls or precious stones. So you name the colour, the design and the finish, and Trollbeads will have what you are looking for.
Some of my favourite pieces from the collection has to be the coloured leather bracelets, which can be stacked with a mix of glass and silver charms. Friendship bracelets are becoming all the rage again and Trollbeads do a wonderful collection, I loved the fact that you can add an elephant, high heel, ugly duckling, or even Thor’s hammer to your best friends bracelet.
Trollbeads is everything I love about jewellery, great quality pieces, that you can buy complete or if you wish it allows you to take control and add your own personality.
What I also loved were the necklaces, especially this sterling silver necklace with Fairy, which you can stack on your favourite beads.
