As you have probably seen Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is full swing with its promo tour, so far stopping off at Rio, Moscow, Berlin and then last night in London. All eyes I think have been on British beauty Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, not only to see what she is wearing, which may I add has been impeccable, but to see if she can live up to the Megan Fox hype!!
I for one can’t wait to see the film and I have to admit I think I have developed a little girl crush on Rosie especially as she hasn’t put a foot wrong for her promo wardrobe, I have love every single piece.
I think my favourite so far has to be what she wore last night. No surprise that when in London she would turn to Burberry, she was once their face, and I am so glad that she did. Rosie wore a gorgeous custom-made satin midnight blue backless Burberry gown slashed to the waist and a plunging neckline, seriously stunning!!! I just love those embellished halter-neck straps that continues as one piece down her back.
Prior to London the Victoria’s Secret model wowed at the European premiere in Berlin, in this jaw-dropping backless silver sequined Naeem Khan gown from the autumn/winter 2011 collection. I adore sparkles especially on the red carpet, and I think Rosie has the right idea here by making it more old-school Hollywood glamour with her soft waves draped to the side. I also love that this floor-length gown has short sleeves, it adds something different to the look, the only think I would have done different is gone minus the belt, it works from the front but that open back deserves more.
I even adore this long sleeve Stella McCartney dress that Rosie wore to the Germany press conference, the plunging neckline still adds a bit of sex appeal but is reserved enough for the occasion. Teamed with pointed-toe nude Christian Louboutins, as if she needed to lengthen those legs!!!
I adore the Burberry gown, but this Gucci dress from the autumn/winter 2011 collection is a close second that she wore to the Global Premiere at the Moscow Film Festival.
Completely different from her other looks, she really is a designer dream, and she has worked her designers, colours and styles well this promo tour. This look works for me because of the sheer skirt, I just think it is a completely sexy look without being OTT, and then you scan up to the bodice and I fall in love again with that gorgeous mustard shade and floral appliqué. Totally chic, I love it from head-to-toe.
I am so glad that Rosie wore this Barbie pink Michael Kors silk-jersey dress from his spring 2011 collection as the fuchsia colour looks just divine on her, as does the thigh-high split!! Seen on the runway in flats I am glad that Rosie went for heels, these nude-pink platforms complete the look perfectly.
In Rio, Rosie also went for Michael Kors, this time a chic black race-back jersey gown team with a black leather asymmetric belt, both from the autumn/winter 2011 collection. I also love that she finished her look with these black ankle cuff stilettos also by Michael Kors they look exquisite with the thigh-high split.
Which Rosie look is your favourite?
