AW11 Press Day: Thomas Sabo East Meets West

A couple of weeks back I took in the delights of German jewellery brand Thomas Sabo at the amazing Thai restaurant Bam-Bou. As you all know I am a charm addict, I have so many Thomas Sabo pieces that I literally rattle when I walk, and I love it!!! So you can imagine how excited I was to see the autumn/winter 2011 collection.

Well it seems for AW11 is all about the Exotic Issue, with the collection taking inspiration from the ‘symbol-rich world of the Far East’, so picture Geisha dolls, oriental fans, Pandas, pagodas, and even traditional-style Buddhist bracelets. What I loved most had to be the colour palette of the line, full of black, deep purples, and ruby reds, seriously gorgeous shades.

I loved the jewellery, but what I completely adore were those giant Pandas, I so want one for my new bathroom!!!

As well as the seasonal Far East pieces Thomas Sabo always has a Classic line, and it is a gorgeous sensual line inspired by the opulence of the 1930s. I love all the delicate feathers, the winged hearts, mask pendants and always my favourites the key charms.
