Last night I checked out the new pop-up space for the Spirit of Fashion Collection, designed by McArthurGlen Spirit of Fashion Award 2010 recipients Carolyn Massey, Matthew Miller and Rachael Barrett. Situated at 4 Monmouth Street, London, the shop is open for just two weeks until September 18, and will sell limited edition pieces from the designers that are all interpretations of timeless classic pieces. From the recreation of the classic white shirt from Matthew and Carolyn, to Rachael’s fab reworking of the school uniform.
My favourite collection has to be Rachael Barrett’s uniform-inspired pieces, including a tunic, blazer and pleated skirt, seriously if only school uniforms were this cool!! I love this sleek black shift dress and light pink silk shirt dress. There are eight styles in her line, and be quick as each piece is limited to 100 only.
For the men, and also for the stylish women working the masculine trend, you have to check out Carolyn Massey’s bib shirt the silver stud buttons are amazing. Once again very limited as there are only 200 of these shirts.

From London the pop-up shop moves to Manchester from September 30-October 6, and then finishing at Glasgow from October 14-20, basically visiting all the designers home-towns, which is such a nice concept. If you do have chance pop down to the stores and support these great emerging designers.
