Who: Abbie Cornish
Where: At the premiere of W.E. at the Venice Film Festival
Wearing: A strapless Atelier Versace purple ombre gown
Verdict: I have to admit Abbie Cornish has kind of flown under my radar, that is until she wore this gorgeous Versace gown. I love the detailing in this dress, the silk organza petals really do look striking in the ombre colouring from black to purple, as well as the corset embroidery.
If I did have one criticism it would have to be her hair, I know Diane Kruger can get away with her hair down with no styling, but I think Abbie should have gone for her hair in a low ponytail a la Sarah Jessica Parker.
