Verdict: If there is an award for most surprising red carpet style it has to be for Abbie Cornish this Venice Film Festival as she really has put herself on the map for me, I loved the Versace gown she wore, and this beauty is just perfection as well. I love the monochrome floor-skimming gown teamed with a skinny gold belt detailing around the waist – basically for me this is just a classy look. I am also glad that she wore her hair up in a sleek ponytail, as that neckline needed showing off.
