After seeing a preview of Nabil Nayer’s spring/summer 2012 collection as part of Fashion Fringe I have to admit I felt that he was going to be crowned the winner. On the night it wasn’t meant to be and Fyodor Golan took away the coveted prize, but take a look at his amazing, uber-glamorous collection as I am sure it was a hard decision.
Nabil is already award-winning he won the Royal Society of Arts Award as well as ‘Best Womenswear’ Award at Graduate Fashion Week, I think because of this he was the favourite on paper for this year’s Fashion Fringe. His collection definitely upped the glamour on the night, with his gold lace dress, super-sexy minis, intricate details and I can’t forget the immaculate styling the hair, gorgeous, and those Nicholas Kirkwood heels were hot!!
I loved this smock-like dress with its high ruffle collar, I don’t know why it totally made me think of former Fashion Fringe Corrie Nielsen, it has that same couture feel about it.
