I love it when good things happen to good people, and I don’t think you can get better than blogger Emily aka the fabulous Fashion Foie Gras. I know everyone has this perception that all of ‘us’ bloggers are uber competitive and super bitchy, but to be honest that couldn’t be further from the truth, and I don’t know anyone who wasn’t frilled and chuffed for Emily this week as she launched her amazing tote with American accessories label Coach.
I still remember the first time we met IRL at a preview for the Vera Moda flagship over a year ago and the lovely Emily helped me pick out some bits *I am still in love with the maxi dress*. Since then I have been an avid reader of her blog and it was so nice to celebrate with her this week.
This isn’t just any old tote, no this is a special one just for bloggers, *OK I am sure Coach will also let regular folk buy this beauty as well*, but Emily took what she carries to all of her events a camera, a change of shoes, a laptop, an iPad, a smartphone, etc etc, and created a bag to cope with it all. Seriously great job Emily as this is one amazing bag. The padded pocket to house the easy-access SLR camera is genius.
I also love the size of this leather and canvas tote, as well as the cute named compartments inside. The details on this bag are just perfection – I love the blue and white stripes down the front and that gorgeous tassel. I really feel that this bag will be spotted a lot over fashion week as it is the perfect blogger accessory. I just wish it came in more colours so we don’t all clash!!!

I can’t express how amazing the launch party was, I was so pleased that Emily got such a great turn out – the place was packed!! I also had so much fun chatting with my friends, listening to some great tunes, staring at hunky models moonlighting as waiters, munching on the cutest biscuits, and best of all taking over the wind-machine photobooth with Alex and Michael.
Congratulations again Emily – you deserve all the praise!!! Now all I have to do is get Mattel to commission me to create my dream doll and I will be in heaven!!!!!
