I knew as soon as posted that Mulberry was the best spring/summer 2012 campaign, I would find something else that I would fall in love with, and of course it had to be Chanel. Whereas most of the fashion houses for spring have gone for colourful and vibrant, I love that Chanel’s ready-to-wear campaign, lensed by Karl Lagerfeld and styled by Carine Roitfeld, is simply shot in black and white and has a cinematic feel to it.
The other thing I love is the sporty vibe of this campaign, perfectly fitting with it being an Olympic year, and Saska de Brauw and Joan Smalls look incredible against the backdrop of gymnastic apparatus in the South of France. I love the parallel bars and the slicked back hair – everything about this campaign is perfection without being over the top. I love it!!!
