Who: Florence Welch
Where: At the Met Gala 2012 in New York
Wearing: A cream 3D dandelion embroidered organza tired Alexander McQueen dress from the autumn/winter 2012 collection, teamed with a classic Alexander McQueen clutch
Verdict: I do love it when Florence Welch attends these type of events as she really does know how to bring the drama, while still looking amazing. This dress isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but come on I think everyone has to appreciate how true to her style she stayed with this look, which might I add I absolutely adore.
This look wouldn’t have worked on most, the tired layering can be a little unflattering, but on Florence she works it to perfection with her confidence, and I also think her gorgeous braided hair was the perfect hairstyle for this dress. As well as loving the colour, I also love the sheer paneling detail to the bust and arms it really does add a sexy vibe.
What do you think – do you love this look?
