There is something pretty special about finding the perfect fragrance, whether you only wear it on special occasions, wear it to cheer yourself up, or like to use it everyday, I have a number of fragrances and each holds a special meaning. One of my latest fragrances and the scent of the summer has to be the new Peoneve perfume from Penhaligon’s.
When thinking about how to describe this fragrance I kept thinking of the word girlie and that’s why I love it so much. Peoneve is basically an English garden in summer bottled and the floral and overly sweet notes make this scent completely radiant.
At the heart of the fragrance is one of my favourite flowers Peony and Penhaligon’s master perfumer Olivier Cresp has created a blossoming scent by combining the radiant Peony flower with the peppery Bulgarian Rose and the powerful white floral notes of Hedione and it is divine.
For me, Peoneve is the fragrance to cheer up the weather, I know we’ve been having a mini heat wave, but this little beauty from Penhaligon’s will be keeping me feeling summery long into winter!!!
If the fragrance wasn’t good enough, and trust me one sniff and you will be sold, Penhaligon’s have teamed up with jeweller Alex Monroe to create a limited-edition line that captures the delicate, fluffy Peony flower and oh my what a collection. I am loving the silver peony earrings – delicate and intricate they are classics that you will wear everyday like the fragrance. There is also a necklace in the collection and both designs come in either silver or gold-plated – this is the perfect line to help launch the fragrance.
The Peoneve fragrance comes in two sizes 50ml and 100ml, with prices starting from £85; and the Alex Monroe limited collection is exclusive to Penhaligon’s boutiques and the jewellery starts at £114.
