As you probably know by now I am a little handbag obsessed so when I got the invite to party with supermodel Helena Christensen and to preview her new collaboration with Kipling I of course RSVPed straight away.
Held at Beach Blanket Babylon in Shoreditch, Helena looked incredible in a light-pink dress with gathering detailing at the waist, it went perfectly with her very own designed rose print clutch. It is this dusky pink rose that is the focus for her collection, which has all been inspired by her own photography.
Not a stranger to the design world, Helena has previously done a lingerie line with Triumph, but this 11-piece accessories line for Kipling marks her first handbag collection. There are a few stand out pieces from the collection, I loved the canvas and leather totes, but it is the printed lace and rose designs that really capture your attention.
No prices have been release, just a vague out in September, but I was quite impressed with her first handbag collection, I particularly loved all the little details such as the tassels and the silver monkey, well it wouldn't be Kipling without a monkey!!!
