New In: Mr Men x House of Holland

Mr-Men-x-HOH-5

Since I was little I always wanted a Mr Men book to be named after me, I have to be honest I don’t know why, but I loved those books and I am now more than a little jealous that Henry Holland has been immortalised as ‘Mr Quiffy’ in honour of his famous quiff. I think at the time my Mr Men or should I say Little Miss character had raving crimped hair, it was the eighties, and I was called Miss Stone, I was a child it wasn’t original and I had just learnt how to spell my name!!!

My love affair with Mr Men has continued into adult life, who doesn’t love Mr Men characters, and I generally want all the pieces from the new Mr Men x House of Holland collection. There are 14 pieces in totally, including patchwork jeans **my favs**, cute character T-shirts, dresses, knits, shirts and jumpsuits featuring the new Mr Quiffy print, as well as a cool appliqué badge bomber. Oh and if that was cute enough, the entire collection is available for all mini-mes, so mum and daughter can dress a like.

The collection is available at Liberty London, Colette in Paris, and online at HouseofHolland.co.uk, I think I really need the Mr Bump jumper, those skinny jeans with Mr Men embroideries on and the Mr Messy clutch – and I totally want to wear them all together!!!

The line ain’t cheap, though, we are talking £220 for the jeans, £400 for the adult bomber and £170 for the kids, and £150 for the sweatshirts. The T-shirts are the most affordable pieces at £90.

So if you could be immortalised as a Mr Men character what would you be called? Are you a fan of the new House of Holland collection?
