I am not sure if I have mentioned Cocosa before, but I should have as it has just provided me with the answer to my denim hunt *well at least for a little while*. The invitation-only fashion retailer hosts flash-sales, one day it could be Paige jeans *which is what I bought*, or it could be quirky print dresses from Olivia Rubin *love*, or bags from Suzy Smith *heaven*. All you really need to know is that the site offers an array of private designer sales, each running for couple of days at a time, with discounts usually between 50-80% off – on clothes, shoes and accessories *hey yeah*.
If like me a flash-sale scares you slightly, don’t fret as the kind soles over at Cocosa do previews of each sale, so you can scope out what it is you want and then they tell you when the sale opens – so you can be prepared to snap up a bargain.
So for months I have been plucking up the courage to get myself a designer bargain. They had a huge clear-out recently and everything I considered went in seconds, so this time I thought I would check out the preview, decided on the item I wanted, double check on the sizing and importantly set myself a reminder as each sale always starts at midday.
It worked a charmed – I am now the proud owner of a pair of black Hidden Hills Paige jeans – check out that double button waist band and flattering boot-cut shape.

Not only was I impressed with the stock and variety, oh and of course the discount *my jeans were a £59 bargain*, but the service – ordered at midday Thursday – delivered like Net-a-Porter in a box, bag and tissue wrapped 8am Saturday. Can’t ask for better than that!!
Now all I need to do is find the perfect occasion to wear my new jeans.
