I’m so glad that so many fashion designers and brands are taking to fashion shorts as I love the creativity in presenting the collections. So we’ ve had Karl Lagerfeld, the many Burberry campaigns, YSL Stefano Pilati’s short film, Rodarte‘s, Rachel Roy’s Miroir Mirror, and one of my favourite’s Bruce Weber’s YSL flick. Now it is the time for high-street retailer Reiss who are presenting their autumn/winter collection with a video campaign, Elements, directed by Jamie Morgan.
The full film launched last week at Reiss’ AW10 preview at The Soho Hotel, ahead of the full web preview coming in September, but you have to check out this edgy teaser. The black and white film, featuring models Natasa Vojnovic and Isaac Crew, the film focuses on classic Reiss products such as a coat, a dress and a suit, alongside atmospheric elements and symbolic animals.
The plan is to make the film available on Reiss’ website, enhancing the brands social profile – as well as plans for a brand new iPhone app.
One thing for sure is I have my eye on a cape for autumn!!
