Forget all the dancing from the M&S advert *no matter how much I love Peter Kay*, the only festive ad that gets my vote this year has to be Harvey Nichols. Entitled Not Just for Christmas, the video is a humorous send-up of the fashionistas who don’t just accessorize their dogs, they use the dogs to accessorize themselves.
Set in the Harvey Nichols flagship Knightsbridge store, the satire plays on this trend made famous by Hollywood starlets like Paris Hilton and her pampered pooches.
I adore the It bag complete with a pre-installed Chihuahua or a cute gift wrapped pug complete with a Harvey Nichols Christmas bow – adorable all of them – particularly love the doggies in the draw *18 secs mark*.
Don’t worry folks I am an animal lover, HN assures me that no dog was harmed in the filming of this ad, and the do not sell animals of any sort in their stores and they do not condone the buying or giving of a dog as a gift in the manner of a bag or accessory!!
