Today, may have been all about Catherine Middleton, well it is her day, but I was also blown away by the grace and elegance of Her Majesty The Queen. Looking stunning in a primrose yellow outfit designed by Angela Kelly, who’s official title is Personal Assistant, Adviser and Curator to Her Majesty the Queen (Jewellery, Insignias and Wardrobe) *amazing job!*
I loved the combination of the bright colour with the nude accessories of her handbag and block court heels. The Queen wore a single crepe wool primrose dress with hand sown beading at the neck in the shape of sunrays, teamed with a matching double crepe wool tailored primrose coat. I just adored the neckline, but I was completely drawn to the amazing Queen Mary’s True Lovers Knot broach – so perfect for this outfit and a wedding – gorgeous.
The Queen finished off her amazing look with an Angela Kelly designed matching crepe hat with hand made silk roses and matching apricot coloured leaves.
