Michael van der Ham vs River Island
With the summer season comes weddings galore, that frantic hunt for the perfect dress, jewellery and clutch, well I have found the most exquisite evening bag and it is a fabulous designer copy.
You may remember the amazing Michael van der Ham spring/summer 2011 collaboration with Swarovski, I was mesmerised by the jewelled detailing on the clutches, well it seems that so was River Island!!
I saw this great copy online and it is a beauty; the pink jewel clutch is a great summery shade, it is big enough to hold my Blackberry and compact, and best of all it is only £34.99.
But I have to say it even though it is a great bargain, I have to be realistic I would never be able to afford the real deal, it does however make me feel a little uneasy at the fact that Dutch fashion designer Michael van der Ham is still considered an emerging talent.
