I feel like I’ve been doing autumn/winter 2011 press days for months now, my first post came all the way back in March, well I am still on catch up as I went to see what Next has to offer last week. Like with other collections I have seen there were a lot of retro pieces, with Next taking inspiration from the sixties for its tailored pencil skirts and shift dresses, looks to the seventies for its eveningwear glamour, and turns to the eighties for colour-popping items, and once again orange and pink plays out a lot.
My favourite item I saw at the press day had this horse print handbag, detailed with bold buckles and the cutest horse charm key chain. More of a weekend bag but either way it has been added to my autumn wish list!!
One of the main themes of the press day had to be heritage pieces, which combines ladylike tweeds, woolens and cosy looking knits, I especially liked all the patchwork motifs.
I also want these two-tone riding boots and the carpet Navaho print bag, out of everything I saw I was most impressed with the accessories.
Couldn’t resist sharing this cute moo cow decorating the wall!!
