AW11 Campaign: Marks and Spencer Go For Hollywood Glamour

I know the news of Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds and model and Transformer’s actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley fronting Marks and Spencer’s latest ad campaign isn’t breaking news, but the new Autograph collection that they are fronting went live yesterday, and I just had to share.

First up, we have to discuss what a weird but actually brilliant choice it is using Ryan and Rosie; random as this is hardly the age range or glamour reputation you picture with M&S, but so right because they look amazing together and actually make a great couple. If you knew how much I loved Ryan Reynolds you would know how hard it was for me to write that as come on Rosie is one of the sexiest women on the planet *love her pout*.

But we have to remember they are fronting the Autograph collection, this is more premium and I do think younger in its audience, come on who hasn’t bought some pieces from this collection?? I think this campaign is a clear statement that yes even M&S is fashionable. I am loving what Rosie is wearing and I have my eye on that bowling bag!!

M&S always do put a lot into their ad campaigns, and if they have such big hitters for the autumn/winter – Christmas is going to be huge. As well as R&R, the high street retailer has also signed up the gorgeous David Gandy as the new face of their Collezione  autumn collection, I do love a man on a scooter!!
