LFW SS12: Jena.Theo – Sneak Peak

Last week I brought you a taster of what’s to come for this year’s Fashion Fringe finalists at London Fashion Week, and I was also lucky enough to speak to lovely Jenny & Dimitris, who make up design duo Jena.Theo who won Fashion Fringe back in 2009.

For spring/summer 2012 Jena.Theo has been inspired by the darker side of Hollywood, think a washed-out Lindsay Lohan, and has entitled the collection, Fatale.

From the pieces I saw I am excited to see the catwalk show on Friday, the colour palette was a lovely mix of blurry blacks and greys, with hand-painted abstract sunsets in soft yellow, sepias and peach on gorgeous sand-wash silk satin fabrics.

My favourite piece was this oversized shirt, which I am sure will flow lovely down the runway. There was also a cute structure cropped jacket with cut-out detailing to the back, so edgy while still being feminine, hard to do but I think Jena.Theo always get it just right.

As always denim will play a huge part of the collection and Jenny & Dimitris were telling me that they are launching their own denim line, which will feature in the show. The skinny jeans I saw with stirrup cut-outs were so cool, probably a little too cool for me, but gorgeous all the same!!

The show is being styled by the amazing Rebekah Roy, and I was so excited when my ticket finally arrived this morning, roll on Friday!!!!
