A couple of weeks ago I was introduced to the amazing luxury brand Thomas Lyte with a very intimate tour around their flagship store in the Burlington Arcade, London. I am not sure everyone will be that familiar with the brand, but seriously these guys have such an amazing collection for autumn/winter. A relatively new brand it was only founded in 2007, but they are growing from strength-to-strength in the luxury silver and leather goods arena.
I was completely blown away not only the quality, but also the modern feel from a brand that has a strong English heritage vibe, well the Thomas Lyte name does originates in the court of King James I *love a history lesson*. I have to admit I have fallen completely in love with the colour palette of the autumn/winter collection, from the gorgeous mustard yellow to the vibrant pink and most of all I adored the flowery lining.
As well as structured handbags and purses, Thomas Lyte also have an amazing set of box clutches, which would be perfect for a fancy night out and I could totally see these beauties being carried by celebrities at premieres. The black one with silver piping detail is amazing.
One big area for the brand has to be the gift market, and dare I mention Christmas is less than 80 days away, what I loved is the gorgeous leather board games especially this backgammon set that rolls up and a poker set that is just amazing. There are also smaller options, from iPad cases to cuff-links, pens, receipt wallets, travel bags and if you are after some silverware then you have to check out the upstairs of the Burlington Arcade store such amazing pieces.
If like me you are a bit of a jewellery hoarder then you are always on the look out for new jewellery boxes, well I have found a gorgeously crafted piece, which not only is it a vibrant colour it also has plenty of room for all your rings, earrings and necklaces. The brand also does cute jewellery rolls, which is a travel essential.
If you haven’t already been to Thomas Lyte in the Burlington Arcade you should, not only might you walk away with a fab bag for yourself, but you never know you might pick up lots of Christmas gifts.
