Tonight I was introduced to Parisian clothing and accessories brand, Lollipops, full of girlie and quirky bags, shoes and jewellery. The retro-feel store on Commercial Street, just behind Spitalfields Market, is mixed in with cool brands including Lomography, Fred Perry, AllSaints and MAC, and I loved how the store was decorated with vintage radios, modern-vibe chandeliers, stacks of old books, vintage trunks and delicate jewellery stands.
As well as the gorgeous spread of sweet nibbles that was put on for us hungry bloggers at last night’s event at Lollipops I was instantly attracted to the quirky doll key rings and jewellery. I would seriously buy any bag for this cute piece, and there was a Pocahontas-inspired brooch complete with feathers that I totally need in my life. I have to admit I seriously don’t spend enough time in East London, just walking through the area from Liverpool Street Station to the Lollipops store, I really wanted to enjoy a meal and a drink with friends it really has a chilled out vibe that I love. Also I have to go back just to take snaps of the artwork dotted about the place in the daylight – there are some crazy creations.
