One of my favourite times of year is when London Fashion Week comes around and my excitement really builds when my first invite drops through the letter box. Well this morning my first autumn/winter 2012 invitation arrived and it is for the fabulous Corrie Nielsen show taking place on February 17.
Last season former Fashion Fringe winner Corrie blew me away with her Argbiter Elegantiarum collection of couture tailoring, and it really did kick off my London Fashion Week – well it seems my AW12 LFW is going to start in the same fashion.
What I love about invites other than the fact that I am happy and grateful that I am on the guest-list has to be dissecting it for clues on what the collection may be inspired by. With the checked background and the words ‘vestiarium scoticum’ scripted across the ticket I am expecting a Scottish filled collection of gorgeous tartan and a regal affair, I am not sure why the regal but the coat-of-arms does look pretty fancy.
What I do know for sure is I am so, so, so excited – roll on London Fashion Week – only two weeks to go!!!
