Emma Stone: Vogue US vs Teen Vogue

Vogue US – July 2012 vs Teen Vogue – August 2012

My style crush on Emma Stone is getting nearly as bad as my one for Diane Kruger, I am not sure why but she just has the unique ability to make me smile. I completely adore her girl-next-door vibe mixed in with a chameleon who can work nearly any look, add in her goofy personality and her stunning beauty and she has it all going on. Seriously her Revlon beauty ads make me look twice, and her red carpet looks keep on wowing me.

With all that love I am so pleased to see Emma finally grace the cover of American Vogue, and what a beauty of a cover it is, surely the best one of the year so far. Shot by Mario Testino, Emma looks divine in a look from Nina Ricci’s autumn/winter 2012 collection on the July 2012 cover, and the accompanying editorial is just as gorgeous featuring looks from Jil Sander, Ralph Lauren, Prada, and Givenchy.

Vogue US – July 2012

The Teen Vogue August cover, shot by Josh Olins, isn’t quite as striking as the American Vogue cover, but come on how adorable do Emma and Andrew Garfield look together. What I will say is that the purple Louis Vuitton dress that Emma is wearing is such a good colour on her, but I have to be honest I would have preferred it if they had gone for a solo Emma cover – especially if they’d used my favourite floral McQ Alexander McQueen dress that Victoria Justice wore to the Met Gala.

The rest of the editorial is cute, chemistry isn’t amazing considering they are an actual couple as well as co-stars in the latest Spider-Man flick, but I am loving the use of Marc Jacobs, Mulberry, Prada, Calvin Klein, and how adorable does Emma look in that Marc by Marc Jacobs hat.

I think I already know the answer – but which cover do you prefer grown-up or teen Vogue???
