When Karen Walker’s second summer ad campaign dropped in my inbox I have to be honest I couldn’t help myself but go “aww”. This has to be the cutest campaign of the season – the four cuties – Claudia, Tyler, Elise and Alice-Rose are all under five and they look amazing wearing the designer’s crazy shades.
My favourite has to be Alice-Rose with her cute ginger curls – she really is a model in the making – I love the attitude she is giving wearing Peek-a-boo round sunglasses.
Shot by photographer Derek Henderson, the campaign features four new styles, as well as the Peek-a-boo, there is the cat-eye shaped Siouxsie, the oval Underground shades, and the square-shaped Rowdy – each one very bold and a little bit retro.
I think this is a great follow-up to its first summer campaign that featured models between the ages of 65 to 92 – the pint-sized models really do look adorable.
