Who: Emmy Rossum
Where: At the 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California
Wearing: A pale pink silk crepe Donna Karan Atelier gown with criss-cross strap detailing, plunging neckline and a slight V open-back, teamed with a beaded clutch and drop earrings
Verdict: This is perfection. I adore everything from the colour to the over-the-top glamorous train, to the sexy plunging neckline and open back. This is just a wow moment, so elegant, so modern, so beautiful.
There is always something so elegant about Emmy, she has a grace about her on the red carpet that is just so amazing to see. I think most stars would have been a little scared of how much dress there is, there is a lot of drape in that train, but she looks so confident and that adds to the beauty of the look.
As well as loving the gown, I also think her hair and make-up was so divine, I do love a smoky brown eye and her lippie is just the right hue of pink to complement her dress, and I’m so pleased she went for a simple up-do, as this gown does all the talking.
If this is what Donna Karan creates for the Costume Designers Guild Awards imagine what we are going to get at the Oscars.
Are you blown away by Emmy Rossum in this beautiful Donna Karan Atelier look as much as me?
