I think I have found a new red carpet crush, Star War’s newest star Daisy Ridley. The 23-year-old British actress has literally found herself catapulted into the spotlight and her red carpet style is certainly making her the girl-of-the-moment, wearing the likes of Chloé and Roland Mouret, and I’m excited to see new blood thriving on the red carpet.

I actually saw Daisy Ridley on the cover of January’s Glamour and thought it was a young Keira Knightley, she has that elegant girlie vibe, and I love her partnership with top Hollywood stylist Petra Flannery, you know who also styles Emma Stone, Amy Adams, Claire Danes and Zoe Saldana, she really has hit the red carpet with confidence, you would never have guessed this was her first promo tour. Premiere Of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" - Red Carpet

So we’ve already had Star Wars red carpet events in Japan, Los Angeles and now London, so I thought I would do a little round-up of Daisy Ridley’s looks because she really looked incredible.

My favourite of the three looks I’m sharing has to be her delicate tiered bespoke backless Chloé dress featuring a polka dot tulle skirt and a silk lace bodice, which was beautifully styled with Christian Louboutin pointed heels.

Worn to the Los Angeles premiere it really has a movie star quality without being too flashy, it’s feminine and  youthful, and a great way to introduce yourself to the Hollywood and fashion crowd. I can imagine that there will be beauty sponsorship deals in her future very soon.

Following up that gorgeous Chloé dress, Daisy Ridley wore another bespoke look to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens European premiere in London, this time, a striking Roland Mouret gown, I totally fell in love with the cosmic-inspired sequin embellished asymmetrical bodice.

This black flock organza gown is signature Roland Mouret, it’s elegant, it has a striking architectural design, and it really is sophisticated and fashion-forward at the same time with the cut-out detailing. The perfect gown to catapult a beautiful actress like Daisy into the red carpet style ranks.

I also have to give a shoutout to her hair and make-up team as her sculptural updo is amazing – do you think they were going for a modern interpretation of the Princess Leia buns look? Or is that me being a little too much of a Star Wars geek?

The third look I wanted to share is her Tokyo premiere Chanel gown. For me, this has an effortless feeling about it like Daisy Ridley had been hitting the red carpet and wowing the style critics for years, you wouldn’t guess that this was one of the first red carpets.

It is just full-on girlie and I adore it, the tiered ruffled skirt is stunning and looks great paired with the classic Chanel knit halterneck. This is a look you would expect to see on someone like Diane Kruger and I love that a newbie snapped it up and totally owned it.

Which of the three looks is your favourite? Have you been impressed by Daisy Ridley’s red carpet style?
