When I saw this Barbie I just had to share. To coincide with the launch of the Barbie Basics collection down under, jewellery designer Stefano Canturi created the world’s most expensive Barbie – valued at a staggering $545,000!!!
For me this Barbie rules because of the amazing hair-do – but that doesn’t obviously cost hundreds of dollars. This Barbie is all about the jewels – very rare and sought after Australian pink diamonds.
Barbie is decorated with a stunning Canturi necklace made up of three carats of white diamonds surrounding a collectable 1.00ct square emerald (cut) pink diamond. That’s not enough for my favourite plastic doll – as she is also wearing a pink diamond Cubism ring.
I love that Barbie creates such amazing collaborations – and this one is amazing.
I wonder how many guards she needed!!!
