I love seeing limited-edition Barbie’s, then I get sad at the fact that I don’t live in the America where most of these beauties are sold, but I just had to share this sweetie number from Dylan’s Candy Bar.
This Barbie doll has been inspired the the interior of Dylan’s Candy Bar and I love it so much I have to track one down next time I go to America. What is interesting is that this Barbie has been created in the likeness of its CEO Dylan Lauren, you may recognise the name as she is the daughter of fashion icons Ralph and Ricky Lauren.
I love her psychedelic gown featuring multicolour, lollipop-inspired swirls, a candy necklace and holding an over-sized signature Dylan’s Candy Bar rainbow pop.
“I was a fan of Barbie from an early age,” says Dylan. “Barbie is an American icon and to have my own doll is something I never even dreamed of. I examined every detail of the doll to ensure it reflected the colors, playfulness and energy of candy.”
