Fashion Scout Merit Award winner Eudon Choi sent down such a beautifully crafted spring/summer 2011 collection that was completely clean and wearable. If there was one word to describe this collection it has to be ‘pockets’, Eudon Choi presented a beautiful utility chic line with pockets on everything from dresses, coats and skirts, that was more than just practicable but also sexy.
The collection entitled Industrial Revolution, Eudon Choi took inspiration from a 1920s warehouse coat, attracted to the design by its clean lines and boxy pocket-detail, and he presented work-wear garments with feminine silhouettes in a muted colour palette of grey, white, camel, black, dusky blue and dirty pink.

If this collection is anything to go by utility chic isn’t going anywhere; what I loved is that Eudon updated the trend with the revealing pinafore dress and creative styling using belts to nip in the silk and jersey gowns. To finish off the show were my favourite pieces, three gorgeous floaty printed dresses in a dusky pink, with draping panels – so divine.
