Wow, Lady Gaga went Versace crazy at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto over the weekend. Choosing to wear pieces from Gianni Versace’s early ’90s collections, a custom-made Atelier Versace jumpsuit, and even this season’s January Jones sunglasses.
Outfit 1 (above) is my favourite, a gorgeous Vintage Versace top adorned with Swaroski jewels teamed with a printed trench coat and beaded vintage Versace trousers, were worn to accept her first award of the night. Don’t you think it has a Andy Warhol pop art vibe about it?
Gaga accepted her second award in a manly-yet-playful blue and black blazer teamed with printed leggings and this season’s January Jones sunglasses, and the most amazing custom-made shoes by Noritaka Tatehana from Japan. Seriously how does she walk in them???
For her first performance Gaga looked stunning in a custom-made Atelier Versace jumpsuit encrusted with black Swarovski crystals and gold Medusa details. How sexy is this look, from the body-form fit to the plunging neckline this is a show-stopping outfit.
For her last performance of Born This Way Gaga wore a leopard print vintage Versace jacket with gold Medusa buttons!
