I am having a bit of an Oz invasion when it comes to my blog, I seem to have falling in love with a lot of designers from down under, and Sass & Bide are top of the pile. First up this was my first Sass & Bide catwalk show, secondly the first time to take in a show at the amazing London Opera House, which is perfection with all its natural light.
Swapping my seat for the balcony, it was nice spying on the most celeb packed front row of the day from above. Sitting pretty in the middle was Paloma Faith strutting her stuff next to Diana Vickers, Harry Potter’s Bonnie Wright, Dionne Bromfield, Peaches Geldof *who had a little strop outside with the paps – oh and is super skinny now* and the gorgeous Poppy Delvigne.
Entitled Seekerstate, the shownotes say that the collection was ‘borne from an experimentation of scare and proportion, exploding into a tale of rich colour, texture and detail’, and OMG was that true.
The sporty collection was refreshing with its pops of neon, yes it isn’t going anywhere, large polka dot prints, which were very Marc Jacobs, and gorgeous embellishement detailing that were simply striking. I was completely in love with the clutch bags, which I so didn’t know they did *need to investigate*.
This collection certainly was made for summer.
