Last week I attended a bloggers event at Farlows, the department store for country folk, and I got the chance to check out their autumn/winter collections and play dress up. It was a fun event and I kind of went a little over-board on my Lady of the Manor look, it was less elegant country tweed and more grungy festival-meets-country!!
I just couldn’t resist the sheepskin lined parka coat, it was so cosy and super warm *a little too hot for a styling challenge*, teamed with a dog jumper, Barbour saddle bag, tweed bleachers, pink socks and boots, oh and my favourite bit that super fun faux fur headband.
I have to admit I was going to do a country fisherman look but everyone else was taking it so seriously so I felt that this look was still fun but also a great country look.
Farlows have uploaded all the piccies from the style challenge onto its Facebook page, and I need all you lovely peeps to ‘like’ my snap to put me in the running to win the opportunity to dress the prestigious windows of Farlows, 9 Pall Mall store. I have little-to-know hope of winning, but if you do like my look please do help a doll out. The winner will be announced on October 24, so just under a week to vote.
