Hot Editorial: The Garage Magazine Dollhouse

I know that Garage Magazine has been out for a while but I am just going through a huge pile of magazines that have been collecting dust for the past month. The debut issue of Dasha Zhukova’s art-meets-fashion had three different covers, the controversial Damien Hirst butterfly tattoo, a sketch by Richard Prince of the tattoo he designed, and my favourite being the dollhouse created by Dinos Chapman and Nick Knight.

I just had to share this gorgeous, yet very sinister and kind of creepy editorial set in a dollhouse. I love this type of arty editorial, the detail in the life-size dollhouse is amazing and it is because of magazines going an extra mile that print will always survive as online can’t do this shoot justice.

The Agathe and Seraphine’s House shoot was inspired by Dinos’ daughter’s dollhouses and the 1982 art house porn flick ‘Cafe Flesh’, what a combination!!! All this creates a disturbing dollhouse inhabited by a distorted version of model Lily Donaldson – I just love the bobble-heads.

What do you think? Love or a little creeped out?
