Last week Lulu Guinness showcased her spring/summer 2012 collection and it was a dreamy display of her signature lips, pastel shades, vintage touches and an ode to the Great British holiday. New for this season Lulu has introduced an oversized lip clutch, which doubles up as a shoulder bag with gold chain straps, more feminine girlie shades and even a sublime tea set.
My favourite pieces had to be the holiday collection, inspired by Lulu’s love of travelling the range features cute tote bags, make-up bags, clutches and purses; all with adorable packing lists, maps, and holiday essentials. Top of my wishlist, and I am sure a lot of bloggers, has to be the 60s camera box bags
This season is Lulu’s biggest yet and I love the mixture of her signature pieces, updated classics as well as the adorable new bags. I am loving the updated Doll Face pieces, who for SS12 is working her sunglasses.
What I love most about Lulu Guinness has to be the lip detailing, whether you go all out and get an iconic lips clutch, or a box clutch with lip clasp each bag is instantly recognisable as a Lulu and that makes a brilliant brand for me. I have my eye on this black and white one – how chic is this.
