So tomorrow, November 1, one of the UK’s most celebrated designers, Alice Temperley is launching her new book True British at Harrods with a special signing.
I know short notice, sorry I was away at the weekend.
But if you do happen to be in the Harrods area tomorrow from 2pm then you have to head up to the Temperley Womenswear boutique on the 1st floor for your chance to meet the designer and have your copy personalised.
The book sounds amazing and traces the development of Temperley’s design and her style from fashion into interiors and lifestyle, as well as touching on the growth of the brand over the past 10 years. The book is lavishly illustrated, and features backstage images, sketches, mood boards and even intimate snaps of family and friends, some of which were taken by her sister who is a photographer.
I do love a fashion book, and this one sounds like a perfect Christmas present, and when you read in the press information that there are 272 pages and 350 illustrations I know I am in for a treat.
