Photoshoot: My Makeover In The Dorothy Perkins Style Studio

Last week was a busy one, sorry I am trying to catch up on all the cool stuff I have been doing lately, the first of those and definitely one of the highlights had to be getting a makeover at the Dorothy Perkins Style Studio. I basically got my hair and make-up done, tried on clothes from the new collection, ate some gorgeous cakes, and had a professional photographer snap me – fun is an understatement.

There were a lot of clothes I loved, but for me the first thing that always catches my eye in Dorothy Perkins has to be their dresses, and I fell in love with this metallic beauty as soon as I saw it. I loved the bronze colour, see below, the sheer panel, the fit and flare silhouette and it wasn’t too short. I styled it up with a gold buckle belt, gorgeous sequinned bow peep-toe heels, a cute studded bracelet and a beaded clutch – basically I was going for a party look.

What do you think?

This dress isn’t on the website yet, but check out this similar style, which is perfect for the day and dressing up for the night.

As well as getting dressed up I couldn’t resist playing around with the novelty kitty gloves and hat – I really think the Gif helps show off my pout!!!

Like these winter accessories? Well they are already on Dorothy Perkins site: cream leopard print fingerless gloves, £9.50, and matching beanie, £12.

**Thanks to the Dorothy Perkins team and photographer – it was great fun. Plus thanks to Sherin from Hi Fashion for taking my other snaps.**
