It’s that time of year that everyone’s talking festivals, so whether you are doing some last minute shopping for Glastonbury next week, or heading to Latitude in July, V Festival in August, or closing the season at Bestival in September on the Isle of Wight, I have some great fashion picks. Not heading to a festival, don’t worry, these also work as great summer buys, I already have my eye on that Topshop badged denim backpack!!!

There’s a little of everything, from the trusty Hunter wellies, always a must for any muddy festival, must-have denim shorts, jewellery to brighten up any outfit, and of course a plastic mac, which let’s be fair with our weather lately will probably be needed. I just have to say when searching for my Friday Favourite pieces Topshop was winning by a mile, this basically could have been the Topshop Festival Edit, so many cute styles, so if you only have time to run into one shop before heading out to a festival this season Toppers is the one to go to.

This is what I would call a festival capsule edit, meaning you can go away with fewer things, of at least kid yourself you don’t need to pack as much, as I’ve picked pieces that can be worn together in different ways. First up, denim, always a safe option for a festival, especially denim shorts, I love the vintage wash of these from Missguided, as well as the price, at £18 they are a steal and flattering too as they are high-waisted, which will work great with the Boohoo bralet top if it’s a scorcher. If not, the Topshop embroidered peplum will be a cool look, especially when paired with the knotted sandals.

Both of the tops will also work under those dungarees, especially the bralet, and if the weather takes a turn for the wet and muddy, throw on your cool sequin plastic mac and Hunter wellies, I love these ombre blue ones. Not one for denim, this Glamorous playsuit is a cute option, or want a more feminine boho look try this floral off-the-shoulder maxi, will look great paired with a chunky pair of boots.

Final two pieces, everyone needs a bag, this patched denim rucksack is perfect, and if you want to dress up any of the looks try this tassel headband
