I don’t generally go for trends when it comes to my style, I used to a lot, and it meant a lot of clothes I just wore once, but in recent years I’ve become more considered about my purchases. However, sometimes, a trend just needs to be tried, even if I’m a little late to the party, and this summer I truly embraced the ugly shoe trend, with the fluffiest sliders I could possibly find.

The ugly shoe trend causes many a debate, from the clunky to dad-inspired trainers to the OTT furry and super-slouchy, and even Crocs seem to be making a fashion comeback, they are the shoes you simply can’t help but love, and I’ve fallen hard for my Emu Australia Mareeba Slipper [Gifted/Affiliate Link]. They really do put a fun, stylish twist on fashion slides, and they have the cosiest sheepskin lining and cushioned insole that makes my feet feel heavenly.

As well as calling these ugly shoes, I also think I need to add that they are also man repellers as well, my husband calls them my clown shoes, but you know what that just makes me love them even more. I’m a cosy person at heart, I love being all snug, even in summer, so these sheepskin beauties are perfect for me, and the dusky pink hue doesn’t hurt either.

When I got these, I have to be honest I was thinking that they would just be for around the house, I do love a good slipper, but then I put them on my feet, and I’m telling you I was completely sold and you know what I do believe that if you love it, feel comfortable in it, then ignore whatever one thinks and just wear them!!!
