How many dresses can you own in the same style? Because I think I may have a problem when it comes to Nobody’s Child incredible Georgie midi dress – this is my second and I’ve already added a third to my basket, and if they keep releasing more cute prints I think I will have a wardrobe full by the end of the year.

I’ve been known in the past to buy up every colour of my favourite slouchy T-shirt, because I literally live in them when I’m going through I must wear denim every day phase, well, it seems that I am now buying up Nobody’s Child fabulous long-sleeve Georgie midi dresses [affiliate link].

It started with the star print, a great little number that I wear a lot, as I love the silhouette, the puff sleeves, frill cuffs, button detailing and sexy split. I adored the black one so much I decided I needed a summer version, and I couldn’t resist this cream and yellow ditsy floral number – because hello, if this doesn’t shout summer magic I don’t know what does.

They now have other star versions, the black and red one is calling out to me, as well as dark florals and a fun heart print. Seriously, there is a print in this gorgeous dress to suit all folks. Scroll to the bottom to see all the fabulous prints.

As soon as it arrived I fell in love, but as I justified buying it so I could wear it to a friend’s wedding, so it sat in my wardrobe for months, it was torture, but I knew if I wore it just once it wouldn’t be special enough for the wedding. But, you know me, I also wanted to shoot it, and I had this idea of running through a wheat field and then while staying at the grand Chilston Park Hotel I saw this field and it was fate, especially as I brought it, as you just never know.

For me, shooting my outfit is sometimes more of a chore, I’m so awkward in front of the camera, I much prefer taking pictures, styling and being more of a creative director, but I do love having fun, making an outfit shoot more editorial, and when I look at these pictures I’m just so chuffed with how they turned out – the tonal colours and vintage summer vibes really shines through.
