There’s something about flowers that just makes me happy and at the moment I’ve fallen hard for adding florals to all aspects of my life. From planting them in the garden, I have so many pots in bloom and it is beautiful, to arranging mini displays throughout the house with forage wildflowers, to buying vintage floral vases to create my country garden inside, as well as adding a floral dress or two to my summer wardrobe, edible flowers to my baking, and beautiful floral necklaces.
I love jewellery and when I shared what’s inside my jewellery box a few months ago I got so many questions about the brands I adore, so I think sharing my jewellery loves will start to become a regular event, and I couldn’t resist a round-up of these floral necklaces I’ve spotted from some of my favourite affordable jewellery brands.
I just think a flower necklace is timeless, a great everyday piece of jewellery, and the perfect way to ensure that your blooms last forever. Plus, it really is a great way of adding something personal to your jewellery collection, the flower in question could represent your birth month, your wedding flowers, a nostalgic reminder of a moment with a loved one, or just your favourite flower.
The language of flowers in jewellery
There is something special about delving into the language of flowers, the history of the bloom, the varieties of species, as well as the myths and meanings.
Like did you know that the daisy has represented superstitious meanings regarding love over the ages? Maidens apparently once upon a time putting daisy roots under their pillows to induce dreams of their would-be suitor, while plucking off the petals of a daisy, one by one, alternating the phrases ‘loves me’ and ‘loves me not’ was used to predict whether an object of affection returned their feelings.
So while roses might get all the romantic glory, the delicate beauty of a daisy has long been thought of a flower of love, and I think that’s why I adore this beautiful Wild Daisy Necklace by Daisy London [Ad-Pr Product/Aff Link] with embossed daisies on a figaro chain, perfect for layering up with your favourite chain necklaces. Also, not keen on gold this beauty also comes in silver.
Daisy London is a great place to go for floral necklaces [Ad-Aff-Link], they have a great selection, one featuring a sunflower, a lone daisy, an orchid, lavender, as well as rose, Forget Me Not, water lily and Bird Of Paradise, with pieces in both gold and silver.

Estella Bartlett is another great affordable jewellery brand with stunning delicate pieces, I find all their pieces are great for everyday layering and I adore these three designs:
Lucy Flint Jewellery is a relatively new find for me but I just love that so many of the pieces are inspired by the wild side of nature taking inspiration from trees, animals, birds and insects, and of course, there are some beautiful floral necklaces.
My final three floral necklaces that I had to share offer something a little different, we have the stunning silver calla lily and freshwater pearl pendant necklace by Claire Hill Designs, I love the matte-silver brush effect and the price under £30, then there is the real pressed birth flower pendant necklace from Lisa Angel, and then there is Alex Monroe, I love this jewellery design, so whimsical and magical and just look how beautiful this buttercup necklace is.
