Lockdown 2.0 is all about elevating your loungewear. Forget the mismatched track pants and hoodies, those leggings that don’t keep you warm, or even that oversized cardigan you love to snuggle into but goes with nothing, for this autumn of lockdown and working from home, you need to discover the beauty of loungewear sets.

I’m talking loungewear essentials that not only spark joy but are cosy additions to any wardrobe as the nights get longer and colder. Now is the time to find pieces that not only look great on, and perfectly acceptable on a Zoom call working from home, but also offer maximum comfort with their relaxed silhouettes, stretch-waisted detailing, and cosy fabrications.

Think oversized textured knits, cashmere-blend co-ords, luxurious pyjamas, organic sweatshirting, beautiful velour and cosy jumpsuits.

So, whether you love a bright colour pop, warm neutrals, or classic black, prefer a sweatshirt over a hoodie, knitted goodness over joggers – I’ve found some amazing loungewear to keep you cosy over the next few months.

The Ultimate Loungewear Edit

The Cashmere Option

Put the luxe into your loungewear with these indulgent cashmere options. I particularly love the look of the M&S camel joggers and hoodie – the colour is just so perfect.

The Ultimate Knit

Well for me, the ultimate knit is this one I’m wearing, I adore roll-neck jumpers anyway, so add co-ordinated cosy cropped wide-leg trousers and to be honest, I’m sold. This set is from Chi Chi London and it is super soft, I love the ribbed knit. I see that it has sold out in the grey, but don’t worry, still available in black, beige and cream – which means I probably need to treat myself to another pair!!!

Jumpsuits to Hibernate In

Want to elevate that onesie? Well, what about a jumpsuit – from Hong Kong-based knitwear designer Madeleine Thompson’s stunning balloon-leg version in camel and black to Sweaty Betty’s cosy long-sleeve beauties.

All About The Jogger

I love a good pair of joggers, and for all the various colour H&M is a good place to start, but if you want to up your loungewear game you have to check out Baukjen’s luxurious organic sweatshirting options. From longer length hoodies to cover the bum to tapered joggers crafted in organic Italian fleece for ultimate comfort. Best of all you know that with anything Baukjen the quality is always good and they are transparent about their processes.

Fancy Pyjamas

From silk to flannel, and the most gorgeous prints – these PJs are too nice to just sleep in.
