I basically wanted to call this blog all hail the £13 Primark button dress, but that seemed a little silly, but you see this is just one of the many colours I bought in this style dress, who can blame me at that price, and I just knew that this light blue beauty would look amazing in this gorgeous Kentish lavender field.
What I love about this dress, other than the fab price, has to be the button design, I love the asymmetric wrap style, as well as the buttons themselves, which are a gorgeous tortoiseshell. The only thing I would say is that you probably need to go up a size of two to make this dress comfortable and to stop you from flashing too much, as the split is quite high.
However, sizing up does always leave me one problem, my bust is never big enough, so I made this dress very plunging, way too boobie for a trip to the lavender fields, so I put a cropped white tee underneath, as no one wants a wardrobe malfunction while sniffing the lavender do they!
It was such a wonderful afternoon, a wander through the beautifully fragrant lavender, followed by lavender ice-cream under a tree, which was surprisingly very nice, and a spot of shopping in the farm shop for some fresh lavender bunches, which are now making my house smell amazing, some local strawberries and a whole host of other goodies.
